Post-Mission:

Heiras the Cyclops is being treated in the hospital of the Windwatcher's Keep. Scholar-mages examine her, seeking a means to treat both the physical and magical scars from her captivity. Her ship, the Stormjumper, is undergoing repairs to fix what Klaitos broke belowdecks. Both are out of action for the time being.

Maergos Sky-Eater, son of the Thundercaller, heralds the advance of his fathers' forces into the Torch Empire, confirmed by other reports from Keep scouts. The Gale Queen and her advisors believe that the apparent disarray of the Torch has tempted the pirate lord's greed. While more pressure on the Torch's armies may aid the Keep's crusade, the Queen sees more risk than benefit in seeking any alliance with his armada, and so she has given the order to avoid the pirates wherever possible.

Ignis's account of Zoll, the Grand Devourer is recorded by the Keep, as well as the party's accounts of the Tower's perils (if there's anything you'd like to keep a secret, let me know). If ever the Torch should lose control of the wastelands, this information will prove useful in reclaiming or sealing the demonic malevolence of the Knotted Tower for good. . Spoils:

The broken hammer's function eludes you still. It was found locked in a trapped box underneath a bulls-eye into which various solid objects had been embedded. The only obviously successful use was when it was able to cause grievous injury to a thick-skinned elongated figure by phasing it partway with the floor.

Wilga's Wisdoms, the enchanted book that continually insults its readers, is a well-crafted magical curiosity, but perhaps of little interest to the Keep. If there's a more general use, you haven't found it yet.

The three tomes recovered from the bookshelf in the void-collapsed room are of varying value:

The logbook of measurements remains largely incomprehensible and will require tedious study by the Keep's lorekeepers to determine any utility.

The treatise on elemental void is an interesting text and might fetch a reasonable price if sold, or prove useful toward some arcanic end down the line if given to the Keep library.

The manual of arcanic artifice is a priceless resource, documenting the fundamentals of the nigh-lost art of crafting aether-age artifacts. It's not in and of itself a means to start creating those - many require rare components, specialized equipment, or vast reserves of power - nor is it a comprehensive set of blueprints for every marvel of the age. However: - The lorekeepers of the Keep could produce a copy of this manual for the library, improving the faction's Intelligence stat by 1 - It becomes possible to prepare tailored artifacts, provided you can gather the materials first. --More complex artifacts may involve drawbacks from clumsily building on the manual's foundations. --One possibility is a new body for the Tireless Knight - Nearly any other faction would be interested in bargaining for this information, most notably the Glassheart and their mercenary army of constructs, though they're nowhere nearby at present.

Ignis's unappetizing berries are starting to get wrinkly in his pack.
